Privacy, explained clearly.
How Yosef Sonlace collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit the website, contact us, or book a call.
Effective September 18, 2026
01
Information we collect
Information you provide. We may collect your name, email address, company or role, contact details, the business function you want to discuss, and any other information you choose to include in a booking or message.
Booking and meeting information. When you book through Cal.com, we may receive your name, email address, time zone, selected time, responses to booking questions, and meeting details. Calls may be delivered through Google Meet or another conferencing service shown during booking.
Website and analytics information. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the website is used. Depending on your device and consent choices, this may include pages viewed, events and interactions, approximate location, referral source, browser and device information, and a pseudonymous client identifier stored in a first-party cookie.
Technical information. Our hosting and security providers may process IP address, request logs, device information, and similar technical data needed to deliver, protect, and troubleshoot the website.
We do not currently use advertising pixels or operate a newsletter through this website.
02
How we use personal data
We use personal data to respond to inquiries; arrange and conduct calls; understand the function or workflow you want to hand over; evaluate whether our services are a fit; operate, protect, and improve the website; measure website performance; prevent misuse; maintain business records; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data.
03
Basis for processing
Depending on the activity and applicable law, we process personal data when you consent; when processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement or to perform an agreement; when necessary for legitimate business purposes that do not override your rights; or when required by law.
You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
04
Cookies and Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 may use first-party cookies, including _ga and related identifiers, to distinguish users and sessions and produce aggregated website reports. Analytics may collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, and interactions with the website.
Where required by law, we ask for consent before using non-essential analytics cookies. You can use the website’s cookie controls, when shown, or your browser settings to reject or delete cookies. Blocking analytics cookies should not prevent access to the main website content.
We do not currently use Google Analytics advertising features, remarketing, or advertising pixels.
05
When we share information
We may share personal data with service providers that help us operate the website and communicate with you, including Framer for website hosting, Google for analytics, email, calendar, and video meetings, and Cal.com for scheduling. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments and only as needed to provide their services to us.
We may also disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a valid government request; to protect rights, safety, and security; or as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
06
International processing
Some providers may process or store personal data outside the Philippines. When this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that support appropriate data protection and to handle personal data consistently with applicable law.
07
Retention
We keep inquiry, contact, and booking information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, follow up, maintain business records, or establish or defend legal claims. Unless a longer period is required for an active client relationship or by law, we generally delete or anonymize initial inquiry information within 24 months after the last meaningful interaction.
Analytics data is retained only for the period needed to understand and improve website performance, subject to the retention controls configured in Google Analytics. Aggregated or anonymized reports may be retained longer because they do not directly identify an individual.
08
Security
We use reasonable organizational, physical, and technical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the risks involved. No website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
09
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to be informed; access personal data; correct inaccurate or incomplete data; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; request erasure or blocking; obtain data portability where applicable; file a complaint; and seek damages where provided by law.
To make a request, email info@yosefsonlace.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited records of the request where required by law. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.
10
Children
The website and our services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from people under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal data, contact us so we can review and, when appropriate, delete it.
11
Third-party services and links
The website may link to or use third-party services such as Cal.com, Google Meet, and social platforms. Their own privacy policies apply to information they collect directly. We encourage you to review those policies before using the service.
12
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or directly when appropriate.
